Couldn't find a switch that wouldn't be a "on/off" (like to turn on lights) switch. I think this will work, it says momentary push button, so I'm hoping one press will sound the horn, and once you let it go it will stop.

If it works, I'm going to order another for my Baja

You want some loud obnoxious horns, get a set of Hella Supertones. They're rated like 112 db, which would be almost twice as loud, and the 2 pitches clash really bad. I had a set on my Subaru and they were amazing. I wish I had pulled them off when I got rid of the car. I would have put them on a go-kart in a heartbeat

Why would you want an on/off (maintained) switch? I can imagine somebody flipping on the switch just driving along horn blowing.

Yes, you need a Momentary switch.

On a side note, I used one of these horns from Harbor Freight on one of my bikes. With 20% coupon, it was only 8 bucks and some change, and it comes with 2. I guess you can wire them in series, one is Hi and the other is Low. I only used the Low, and it is loud enough!

High Pitch and Low Pitch. Two different tunes.

Well the momentary switches came in the mail. Got 3 of them for $2.80, great deal. These seem like nice switches. They are small so I can put them anywhere.

Horn is supposed to get here tomorrow! Going to get it wired up and we'll see how it works I'll be sure to post a little video on how it works this week sometime.

Horn came in the mail, did a quick test and dang, it is LOUD in the house! Scared my poor dog silly lol

Got the button on my Baja, so tomorrow I will install the horn

I had a set [Hella Supertones] on my Subaru and they were amazing.

Do Subarus have especially bad horns? Most of the sound tests I found were posted by Subaru owners.

I know this is a super old thread, but wanted to update it.

The horn works very well and is loud...loud enough to be obnoxious, should you want to!

I am going to order 2 more for my Yerf dog go cart and get them mounted up

Quite loud for under $10!

When I am riding behind my dad on our Bajas, and he has a full face helmet on, I can blow the horn and he usually hears it.
