hey guys, so im building a frame and i havent gotten my bearings yet and was wondering if someone could take a measurement for me, i need to know what the distance is from either the center line of the axle or the bottom of the axle is to the frame, i need to know in order to compensate on my front beam so i can run 18s front and rear and have it sit somewhat level. they are the 3 bolt go kart beatings 1 1/4. not pillow blocks

I think that depends on the frame, bearing hangers used and a whole other host of unknown factors not listed by you.

Your best bet is to call BMI tomorrow and pick your bearings. Get the stock number so you KNOW you order the same one. Ask them for that measurement. I have 1 set of the 1&1/4 bearings like that but its in my storage so that wont help. If you haven't gotten your answer by the time i get home from work,I'll run down and measure the one i have, and tell you the stock # as its still in the package. I didnt order it,but it was in the box of stuff I did order so I just kept it. Shhhhh..... lol
