Can you modify the flange to accept it? A die grinder and a carbide burr would make quick work of it, then redrilling the mounting holes.

This isn't about the hole for the bearing not being big enough. The bolt pattern for a 1.25" bearing in 3 9/16, whereas a 1" bearing in a 3" pattern. The flange that the bearing bolts too has plenty of room for the axle, but I need an adapter to mount the 1.25" bearing and cassette to the 1" mount. We can machine one if need be, but sometimes it's easier to purchase an already made solution instead of re-inventing the wheel.

Yeah pics are probably necessary. Why can't you just make it a double bolt pattern and drill a new set on the proper spacing, offset 60° from the old ones?
We have the swing arm mount for our motor. It is drilled for a 1" bearing's bolt pattern. There is not enough room to drill it for a 1.25" bearing.
We are wanting to use the cassette above to hold our 1.25" bearing, but we need an adapter to make it work with the swing arm. We can design and machine one if necessary, but if one is available then we would likely purchase it to save time.

There is no adapter because the 1" bearing are the different then the larger size... 1.25 is a big bearing....
Why use such a large bearing?.... The 1" are plenty for the average kart use.... They use these on industrial machines alot....
What is this for... pics of the machine???
And... if you must use this bearing... weld a few tabs to the existing carrier to match the current housing...

I am using the 1.25" bearings because I have a 1.25" axle laying around that we are going to use. We are building a drift trike, and are trying to keep the cost low (since it is a high school class project). We will just machine an adapter. Maybe we can sell them since no one seems to make one ha
If I'm seeing this correctly, you have holes to mount two and three hole cassettes..
And as far as I know that motormount is a replica of the Rupp one from the sixties and seventies..
which used to take 1.25" axles quite easily... (used them on many of their race karts IIRC)
