I scored some kansas city gates bbq does that count? Still in van just got back im beat. 8hp tiller runs great $60.00. Onan generator huge horizontal twin and 14hp kohler told they were running when parked but been sitting years got both for $125.00. Dug all the horse stuff outta trash for free.

The tiller is a 8hp briggs and thats what I was mainly after. In reality that tiller would bring around 225 to 250. I spent $185.00 so I basically got the generator and kohler free. They both turn over, not unloading till tmrow I didnt have help that onans bigger than it looks im beat.

Thats how you get stuff free. All I really want is the 8hp, Most likely sell the other two. I will at minimum make back what I spent. I might not be the go kart expert but ive been selling on ebay since the beanie baby days and have gone on long buying trips way before anyone ever even heard of American Pickers. Someone years ago said "oh, you're a picker thats cool." Much to their surprise I said what the **** is a picker??? Oh, I get it. I always just called it buy sell and hustling.

Exactly! Ive never watched much tv and I was at a friends and they were watching pickers. I was floored. I was like theres a tv show about buying and selling junk? Wow. Sad but true story I really had no idea. I still find deals just really gota be on it. Like any so-called picker I have lots of awesome stories but if you think your gona make a living be prepared for a ton of work.

My biggest money maker was old rockhound equipment now everyone knows about it if it shows up its gone in a blink unless its priced at value. Thing is most of that stuff has passed on to the next generation. It was an easy money maker for years, I probably had my hands on better than 50% of it that ever went up for sale in my area and literally made thousands off it. It was sporadic, every few months I could find a pile for around $500 and piece it out for 2k to 3k. I never sold the rocks they're my babies. Some are worth a lot but they're mine till I die.

If you so care you might view my finished and next projects post to see what might happen with this 8hp briggs. I have to get it off the tiller and see if I can still move seat back. Probably could use a tape measure lol.

Looks like I need to get the kohler k321 on the bench if it runs they bring bux on ebay esp ones that look this nice.

Yeah so I gota sore back now but the k321 runs like a top, got the onan running, yeah i basically traded $200 to get $1000 later. Not my best ever but pretty good.
