To Landuse... It already hit the track LOL .. runs like a rapped ape.. unbelievable torque....tops out at about 45 mph.. maybe 50. When you burry the pedal it pins you into the seat. and if your moving and tap the pedal she lurches forward..She's a heavy Kart.. and stiff.. slides through turns like an old stock car from the 50's ... its a fun ride. Only twin engine kart I own. I have a west Bend 820 going on a 1968 Chaparral next.

Have a look at THIS thread on how to post pics from your PC, and THIS thread on how to post clickable thumbnails from a photobucket (or other pic hosting) site.

That is a thing of beauty! I'd love to have/build a twin engine kart.

Btw, "dual" is two, "duel" is a fight.

yeaaaaa ... there's something about a restored vintage and a twin engine...... not that I don't appreciate concept builds... I have seen some I really really like and one day I hope to build something from scratch ...BUT when it comes to vintage it's just something I quite can't put my finger on. Call me nostalgic, or old fashioned .. you just cant improve on the factory original...those old 1960's Karts just have a look of their own.... I could never modify a " minty" one ...

My folks were not in any financial position to purchase me one back in the day...this baby sold for abut $390-$400 in its day. And truthfully it wasn't a yard kart / fun kart.. it was a serious racer.. adults had them as a form of cheap racing. So here I am 51 and now just getting that dream Kart I would have loved to have had when I was a kid....it was worth waiting for...But I still have the two "junkers" I got with my lawn money back in 72 that got me started..and I have them restored also { a Stellar & a Clark Rebel }

I officially have run out of room with 5 karts ...... don't want to push it with the wife.
