Lee Barker
Contraptionator
This started life as a riding mower (as all of my vehicles have).
For this one I moved the front axle back about 8" and rebuilt the steering column.
Behind the seat is the ubiquitous Predator, stock, #40 chain, band brake, one side driven. The bogey side is bronze bushings.
You'll see the red kill button under the left side of the seat.
The front foot rests are from a wheelchair.
Next week, fire it up. Then begins the process of installing a passenger seat over the engine, suitable for grandkids. Searching thrift stores for chairs begins immediately.
Other parade vehicle images are in my albums.
