Permanently banned means your off of here for good. I'm not sure if Robert bans just the username or if he does an IP ban. IP ban means your IP address is banned from here so you cannot create a new account to bypass it.

I've liked his banter, but I've been getting repeated notices from users reporting BS from him lately, and that last one .... sigh..

The rules can be simply distilled: keep it family friendly (or at least TRY, for sakes... ) and don't be rude intentionally, ESPECIALLY to new members.

Yes there are a couple of other rules, but those are the BIG ones.

Just playing devils advocate here (if I need to edit this let me know lol), what's to stop someone from signing up on a different computer (like a different network)? Or if you use your phone without wifi is there an IP address? I don't know much about computers, just curious.

That all makes good sense! Especially the way new members are treated sometimes. I get it's (usually) good fun, but I'm sure it offends people

Nothing stops you from signing on again with another username. We don't ban IP's (we can though). What is the point though. We will soon know it is you who is back and ban your a$$ again
