Just finished drilling a tiny 5/64 hole in the bottom of my shock and drained the oil out of it.
Quite possibly one of the worst smelling things i have ever smelled. but, the shock is perfect now! it acts pretty much like it would if there was only a spring. little to no damping at all. its great!

sweet! i wouldnt have thunk to make it like that its great that it works. If you use turnbucles with a threaded rod where those round rods are you can have an ajustable ride height. Nice job

jace you are correct that its not spelled right... but who cares! its a forum about gokarts and minibikes and having fun!!! lets not get nasty guys.
porsche930dude, i like that turnbuckle idea alot! but i only have about a half or quarter inch between the "round rods" (idk what to call em either hahaha) so im not sure if they will fit or not... maybe i can take that same idea though, and make something more compact... it would be a feat to get right and left hand threads though...
