I have a question about how much a 2014 Baja Warrior MB200 gc is worth.
It is stock with the exception of a June 2018 predator 212 engine swap and a headlight delete due to predators not having charging coils.

huh? 499 new and 550 used without lights since the wrong (and cheapest) engine was installed?

NAHHH I doubt that!

250-300 would be my call if otherwise in good condition.

I live in Weeki Wachee FL. (or Brooksville depending on where you look) which is about 2-3 hours north of Tampa. Also i'm not sure if it helps my price but i've checked on craigslist, ebay and the Tampa bay times, and there aren't many of these for sale.
Also the frame is in great condition and the new engine puts out a lot more power than the original (based on the pull of the new engine vs. the old engine not the power ratings).
And I still have the original engine which has, since replacement, had the governor removed.

Forgot to ask this in the previous post but what do you mean by the cheapest engine.

I think I paid $175 for my nephew's used Baja MB165.
Also didn't have a light. Needed a new clutch and some paint.

Mine is quite a bit like a mb165 except it has a storage tank. I bought it new and it still has the factory clutch (soon to be swapped with a max-torque I have). And has the factory green camo paint.

I..Forgot to ask this in the previous post but what do you mean by the cheapest engine.

simple, there is no cheaper engine than a 212 predator..
it's not the worst engine I guess (properly labelled rato's are amongst the more expensive engines)
but still, not much money in it... and since it doesn't come with a charging coil it's a serious DOWNGRADE ...

People don't pay for used predators much, simply because a new one is less than a hundred bucks with the famous HF coupon.

And frankly I doubt it's superior to the original engine..
the old carb might have been gummed up and thus not pulling right, but side by side in identical condition (both new let's say) ... I bet you can't tell any difference other than visual differences that is.

Anyways, you did an engine swap with a subpar replacement (no coil)
so half the lowest price for a new Baja Warrior is about the best you could expect. IMHO

With the old engine you could have the minibike just over the engagement speed or at any speed for that matter and the front tire wouldn't come much more than a foot off the ground. After the engine swap, with everything else the same and with the same 90 octane shell recreational fuel, I took it out for a test spin to check everything out. I took it easy for about the first 10 minutes, then while at half throttle I ripped the throttle open and the front tire came about a foot off the ground before I let off. Also right outside of my front gate there is a spot with no grass. Still compact ground just without much grass. I took it out there and when I reached that spot I opened the up and it left a 20 foot patch.
Even when brand new the old motor wouldn't do that. And the new predator revs to 3800 rpm. The old motor topped at 3600.
It is true that the predators are some of the least expensive engines on the market. However the one that I have is superior to the original.
And from what I can tell the predators come with the mounts for a charging system.

I would say $350-$550 depending on where you live.

I agree, here in Ga most go between $300-550.

If your bike is clean, 100% ready to go, and starts on the first or second pull it will sell for a very decent amount.

Check your local Craigslist to see prices for others and go from there.

The bike is pretty clean and in perfect running order. The engine was manufactured in June 2018 and bought in late July. Has about 6 or 7hrs total run time (3 hrs for break in and 3-4 hrs ride time) and starts on the first pull every time (except when I leave the spark plug cap off.
I checked on Craigslist and could only find modified ones (repainted, storage tank gone, fender delete or modified 212s) for $200-$350.

Lets not forget the 5.5 hp official honda gx200

I don't think I've seen a minibike that comes from the factory with a genuine Honda. And I surely don't think that a Predator is downgrade from a Jiangdong (or any other clone) engine. Even without the lighting coil, I'll take the Predator - 212 times out of 212. And if offering a new genuine honda gx200 with smaller bore, shorter stroke, and smaller valves for $350... I'll still take the new 212 for $100.

The only time that I would consider taking a Honda over a Predator is the GX690. 22hp Predator 670 vs 22hp Honda 690 and 45nm Predator 670 vs 48nm Honda 690. And even then I likely wouldn't, because for how much the Honda costs I could boost the 670's power quite a bit.

i paid $80 for one, $100 for another. Remember these are cheap mini bike that sells for $600 BRAND NEW.

So lets say you actually want to restore the bike to 'like new' condition- it would cost more than a new one to do that. But lets say new tires $120, electric start conversion and lap the crap out of the flywheel to get it to fit, another $100. New headlight $40...

See what I am getting at here? An old used chinese mini bike that is driveable. I wouldnt pay more than $200 for that thing. Especially with the front fork problems they all have.

Restoration steps.
1. Re-assemble original engine with charging system.
2. Re-install old engine.
3. Re-install original headlight.
= 100% original and like new minibike. Cost: free.
Tires are almost perfect, never had e-start, I have the original charging system and headlight, and 2014 is not old.

And to adress the recall the part of the official notice that relates the the bike that is recalled is below.

"Description: This recall involves Baja Motorsports gas-powered mini bikes manufactured
during November 2014 and December 2014. The recalled mini bikes have a black frame with a
black padded seat, a storage tank and fenders that are camouflage, side reflectors, a headlight and
a tail light. A decal with model number “Baja Warrior 200” inside a circle with wings attached is
on both sides of the storage tank. The date of manufacture is printed on the bottom right of the
Vehicle Emissions Control Information label in the MM/YY format. The label is attached to the
front side of the engine."

Mine was not manufactured in November or December of that year. Mine has a green frame not black. Mine does not have a taillight. And I have never noticed any problems with the front forks.
