20170802_121251.jpgMy 15yr old son brought home a Baja Warrior last night. He has already ordered a light, chain guard, clutch guard, new pegs and pull cable. The problem is I won't him ride it! lol
This thing is idled so high you have to hold the break just to start it!
With the help of this forum, I was able to successfully build two go carts that I had NO IDEA about. I am hoping you all can tell me where to start on this piece of....I mean "super cool bike".

Maybe I just dont know what I'm looking for, but I don't see a "black plastic phillips head on the carburetor thingy"?

Ahhh Ha! Is this what we're looking for? If so, what does it do and what should I do to it?

I had the same issue with mine.

Screw it towards to increase RPM, screw it out to decrease RPM

Just keep going until it stops revving and wanting to take off on you

Another idea would be to order a small tach for it. Helps know how fast it's going :D

Plus it's nice to keep up with the hours between oil changes

Check the springs on the throttle assembly if the screw thingy adjustment doesn't work. If it works & slows down the engine, but it won't idle unless the choke is on do this....

There's a small plastic jet being held in place by the black plastic screw (the screw holds it in its hole). Back the plastic screw all the way out, pop out the idle jet with a tiny screw driver, use a tiny wire (one strand of very fine automotive wire) to clean out the hole. Then pop the jet in place, screw in the plastic screw & adjust the idle speed again.
