Baja now "Purple Haze"

Today I painted and tonight I assembled "Purple Haze" ..now waiting on a box of engine goodies from GoPowerSports - alot more was needed than a "chain and throttle cable" as the former owner said.

I like the big tank much better,
that tiny pill looks even tinier next to that massive saddle and wheels :(

Big Tank not so big

The "big tank" from the factory is a fake take that does nothing....The small one will be replaced with a larger tank in the future...once I find one I like..might even build one.

Ahh I see.. too bad :(

I thought it'd be a plastic cover for a smaller plastic tank ..
but you're right, that engine tank then would've been pointless.

Purple Haze.....99% done

My Baja rebuild "Purple Haze" is 99% finished....Still have to wrap the header pipe. Also Still looking for a larger Gas Tank.
Mods include - PVL flywheel - ARC rod - Hot 265 Cam - 18 lbs springs - rejetted the carb - Adapter/ K&N style air filter - forks and triple tree mods - Header - Torque Converter

that void... personally I think it needs to be "filled" somehow at least reduced..
a toolbag perhaps?
