Hi everyone, I'm wanting to add an AGM battery to my MB200 . Has anyone ever done this? I'm wanting to have continuous bright lights without having to drive full speed all the time. I'm thinking I might weld together a battery box out of some flat bar and mount it in front of my engine. Any advice?

Thanks!
Doug

If your kids have any old power wheels products laying around you can always use that.
I did. And would get 2 -3 hours of light off two mini halogens.
And ... If you still have the charger, no money spent. I just just used those female connectors to the tabs on Pw battery.
Also they are small and light weight

Haha well, don't have any power wheels! I forgot to mention that baja discontinued a rear mountable basket. Maybe I could make one to hold a battery?

Why not a bag on the side. Something like a ammo can or a other box like thing. could kinda look like a bagger cycle. Tools in one and a battery in the other.

Hey Doug,

here's another option. I went down to Wally World and picked up one of those great new LED driving light sets. I wired them in series with the headlight. Aimed properly, they give plenty of additional light and there's no power loss.
