I saw a setup for the GY6 engine without reverse gearbox. I want to be able to do something like this in the picture.

And you can! I see two options to do this
1. Find a splined sprocket that is the original tooth found or get one made
2. Weld the sprocket you do have on the half of the assemble so that when that half moves so does the sprocket. And don’t just tack weld it, put a nice bead around it so you don’t have to worry about it coming undone
