Baja doodlebug

A buddy of mine bought a baja doodlebug at a garage sale for 25 bucks, it was in decent shape and I figure it was a **** of a bargain. Anyhow, he had me get it running and check things over. We both rode it and come to the conclusion it needs more power, so he's going to get a predator 212 and put it on.

I'd like to get ahold of one, but I don't want to pay 400 bucks for a new one, anyone know where I can get a frame with wheels and steering, has everything but the engine? I'll just put a predator 212 in right away

$25 is a steal, you'll never match that, especially if you want it soon. Keep your eyes open and you may be able to find a frame for more like $150.

I put a 212 on my doodle bug pretty easy

I using oem doodle bug sprocket with 12 tooth clutch

Would you go with a torque converter instead? It would handle the stop and go easier than a clutch
