Hey everyone. Have a newly acquired 50 dirt runner and decided to change engine oil. When I pulled drain plug there was a lot of pressure when I took it out. Has anyone experienced this before. I have a lot of different engines and have never seen that before.

I should also add it has not ran for about 24 hours previous to oil change

That's definitely not right, there should be no pressure...

There should be a rubber or plastic tube exiting the engine somewhere which connects to the carb; for example, on a Honda/clone it exits the valve cover, on a B&S flathead, it will be behind & just below the carb; find yours & check that it's not blocked or closed off in any way...

Well, that's not something you want to make a habit of; I mean changing cold oil.

You want to change it hot or as warm as you can without boiling yourself in the oil. This way the contaminants and particles that are suspended in the oil can have the best chance of completely exiting the crankcase with the used oil. Some will likely remain (it will come out in the next oil change) but hot liquids flow much better than cold....

Hot or cold... It'll most likely be a leak by of gas into the crankcase, from not turning off the petcock on the carb... Happend to me a few times with the regular clone engines...
I going to assume it'll be the same situation as this is also a gravity feed carb...

Change the oil, with fresh clean oil...It'll be fine.
