I just recently got a manco 606 magnum. I got the torque converter cleaned and aligned as well as chain and sprockets. Brakes didn’t work but it was a simple adjustment. The brakes are mechanical if it matters. I go to test out the engine with everything set up, a predator 212, and when I start to get going the frame(roll cage) vibrates a lot, making a lot of noise.

:censored: is this normal? I checked the bolts and everything was tight. The kart is in very good condition. Always had been kept in a weatherproof garage when not in use. Never rolled or anything. No rust

Torque converter not working smoothly
Wrong gear ratio
Bad belt
Chain is bad or not in spec
Bad wheel bearings or axle bearings.

Are a few things that can cause that. Got a pic of the kart ?

Can’t figure out how to post a picture. I’m fairly new. Belt only has about an hour on it and it’s a comet belt. Chain is correct original sprockets and chain. Haven’t been ridden much. I wouldn’t think it would be wheel bearings, as it’s just when off-road and the top of the cage rattles

It's a go kart not a porche 911 lol. I had a dingo with a cage briefly. Cage did same thing. I got it in a trade and was selling it so never looked into it. A bit irritating I thought maybe without suspension the vibrations were just working their way up but never really bothered with it. If I had kept it pretty sure the frame woulda got cut off.

I had the same issue with my yerf dog 3203. It vibrated like crazy once I put a new Predator 212 and a cheap eBay TC on it. After many hours of desperate research on the topic, I drilled a hole through the TC and the engine mount on my yerf dog and tightened them together with a bolt. And yes everything was aligned perfectly. After the break-in period of the P212, it smoothed out completely. The only thing that vibrated after that was the loose floor pan, but I got some silicone caulk from Lowes and went along the edges of the floor pan and now it's pretty quiet and smooth.
