Sponsored by Hormell? Or Jimmy Dean? I'm watching PBS right now, so I don't have to worry about THOSE types of commercials...

I been making them for awhile.I use a cupcake pan.I pre-cook the bacon a little not too much that it will break when i bend it into the cupcake pan.I usually cut the bacon in half and line the cupcake pan with it.I also like to use ham or salami then bacon it covers the bottom and sides of the pan better.I then crack an egg and throw in some chopped ham, pepperoni, onions or whatever you want. Then i bake it til the egg is almost cooked and throw some cheese on top.My first time i thought when i took it out of the pan and cut it it would fall apart.I was able to cut it into 4 pieces and it didn't fall apart.Let me tell you these things are so dam delicious. Its like a whole breakfast in 1 bite.

I always fry my eggs in the bacon grease after I cook the bacon. Occasionally, I fry the bread in there too.

IMHO, eggs can't taste any better, than when cooked in bacon fat. Mmmmmm.

Good evening folks and welcome to the 15th anniversary of the "Bacon Bowl Classic." I'm your announcer- Bob Costas along with my faithful sidekick- Jim Nantz and we'll be bringing you the action- one slice at a time.

Well- Jim- your thoughts and predictions on the upcoming game....

Well Bob- we all know how heavily favored the Hogs are in this matchup. They have been smoking this season. Their advantage at "crunch time" is well known. Their ability to strike at a moment's notice with their "coronary attack offense" is legendary. They have a team with enormous depth at wide receivers but not too many tight ends. Also- they have been known to crumble under pressure. ..... And we all know how many victims coach Flatline has claimed this year with that surprise offense. So the Coronary Killers are a definitive player in this Bowl.

On the other hand- the Scramblers are no yolk! ( Sorry-).....While their defense is often referred to as soft- they can play some hard-boiled ball. Their MO is to lay in wait. They always seem to be there late in the game, and in NUMBERS. Their fans are always rewarded with their high ratings. While their new quarterback is pretty cocky his hard numbers show an above average PASSING rate. Not to mention his ability to scramble. ...

Watching place kicker Ben Laien in warmups- he was kicking 50+ yarders and getting them over easy. Speaking of special teams- newly acquired Tim Sliessed- (the all- American) is sure to contribute to the teams overall numbers. Coach Harding Artry has this team operating at the highest level possible.

So I'm predicting the Cholesterol Scramblers by 7 in this one Bob.....:cheers2:
