back axle is wobbly

Title says it all I took my red cart out for a test drive....(still working on front end)and notice left and right wheel wobblying....right rear def wobbles more....as I have no experience with shafts. So my question is ..is there anyway to find out where its bended at?

Yes, there are a few ways. One involves mounting a dial guage to the bar above the axle, turning the axle & watching for excess movement on the guage. Another method involves stripping the axle & rolling it on a flat surface.

My question is what makes you think the axle is bent?

From the pics, it's obviously not; I can clearly see the axle bearings...

yea... but theres ppl out there, like me, that do odd things.... like put bearinged wheels on a live axle...:thumbsup:
