B&S engine 4HP

Hello everyone,

I've a B&S 4HP engine and if I pull on the cord, the motor goes full speed!!??!!!
If the choke is open not, but if I close the choke he turns back to full speed?
What is the problem?

yea check ur carb the throttle might me stuck. mine got stuck on my 5.5 honda gokart with a TAV. it flew and hit a wall and flipped. the only reason it stopped is because the low oil shut off kicked in. scary stuff
