I ordered a B&S 1100 Intek today. It does not come with a adjustable throttle carb. I was thinking of putting a dirt bike carb on it (fab up an adapter). Has anyone ever done this? What size carb would be appropriate? I have a carb off an XR250 (same displacement as the B&S). Or does anyone have any suggestions of a B&S carb or the likes to bolt on? Thanks for any and all input!

I looked on ebay and a "high performance" mikuni for XR50's is 24mm....would this work? I am open to using a briggs carb or similar carb already set-up for carts. What are my options here? Thanks!

Do you have a caliper? Go measure the venturi on your carb that is on the engine. Also, what is keeping the carb from being adjustable?

I plan on building a full caged buggy later n down the road. For now I want to stay child friendly . I guess nothing keeps it from being adjustable . I will just have to fab a linkage with return spring.

i'm gonna guess your talking about the governor if you want it to be child friendly i'd say leave it on, if you post a pic of all the linkage then we should be able to get you set up
