Axle

Hi, I'm new here, but that's not important I'm just saying that. So anyway I'd like to ask you about axles. Firstly what kind of axles do you use, is it the outside diameter of 25mm? And that depends of what diameter sprocket and disc holders you are using(if different please share). And can an axle be a simple iron or steel tube? What kind of metal do you use for an axle? Thanks for your answers.

An axle is used for a 2 wheel drive system, steel is usually used and you need bearrings to reduce friction and heat.

The diameter of the live axles I have used is 1", which steps down to 3/4".
