Axle strength

So I'm thinking of putting my 459cc predator on my go kart. The thing has one of the octagon dingo style axles. I don't plan to stick with this setup, but I was wondering how long you guys think it would last. Thanks!

I have what I think is the same axle on manco kart with a 301, that is a little lighter than the 459. It's built, so it has a lot more power than stock. On the street it holds up fine. Off road it can be seen flexing. I am planning on adding a 3rd axle bearing mid point in the center of the kart. The kart and the axles that are in them where designed for engines weighing 35 - 38 lbs. Yours weighs at least twice that. Mine very close.

Thanks! I plan to eventually buy a cheap 4x4 fourwheeler for parts and use the front independent suspension for rear suspension on it, so I don't need the axle to last forever, just long enough for me to find what I want.
