AWD on a 550cc shifter cart?!?

I just bought a suziki gs550 for cheap and i am going to yank the engine and put it into a shifter cart. was wondering if anybody had shifter cart plans that could get me started and that i could modify. I want it to be a two seater. I was also wondering if it is possible to rig up an AWD system on it so i could have wicked acceleration. I am not going to race it or anything, just a fun project to keep me out of trouble .

AWD is NOT a first build/rig up/cheap thing.

Don't bother with AWD. You can get great acceleration with 2wd if you keep the weight down.

Rear live axle. Front live axle with cv joints at the knuckles. And have a chain linking them.
