your best guess would be just to order on line at harbor freights or find something on ebay.

In Sydney with same problem, trying to find a wreckers to get motorbike engines but no luck so far.

I went to order off northern tool the other week, $165 for postage!! Now I'm looking at ebay trying 2 find stuff.

I was havin the exact same problem. i found parts in 3 place;
-northern tool
-parts from racing go karts
-motorcycle wreckers

But man.. is it hard to find parts over here!
There really is not much at all..
All of the racing go kart sprocket are alloys or alluminium so they are a ***** to weld.. or u cant even weld them in the first place.. so no good. but you can still get brakes and other misc. parts from racing karts.

Check your yellow pages from motorcycle wreckers.. you can find some good stuff there

And then there is just good old ebay.
