I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with the rear brakes off of an atv. I was looking for a cheap route to take with fitting some brakes on my cart. I here's what I was looking at

ebay stuff

I have a brake line that I could use to lengthen and work at a fab shop for bracket making stuff for pedals an such, is this a logical idea?

There was a thread a few weeks back about a brake setup which included a disc for he same price.

That being said, that setup should work fine

if u brought a blank sprocket hub then u could carfully drill the required holes and mount it that way

when i used a differant sprocket on my buggy
i used the origonal hub then made a donut shape plate to bolt the sproket to
but i had a lathe

the good thing is u are only doing the brake disc so errors are acceptable un like the sprocket where any runout would cause the chain to jump off
