its not a bike but it does have 2 wheels. its a motorized scooter. i was wondering if anyone has any knowledge on what it takes to swap one of these motors out.

could you use a motor from stuff like line trimmers, or back pack blowers? or what kind of engines could you use?

The motor works pretty fine starts up and runs good. It pulls me around somewhere between 15-20mph. I am only 145lbs, with Heavier people it slows down. It also doesn't like any hills even with me

I was thinking of going for something bigger, try get more speed and able to do hills easier

Have you considered modifying the engine? I know they sell performance parts for those. You can usually put a racing sparkplug, a nice exhaust with an expansion chamber, and a bigger carb, or jetting on the old carb to make it faster. It should increase your speed by around 8mph, and you should get more torque to go up hills that way. Look around on google for goped performance parts. You'll find everything you need. Do a youtube search for goped performance parts as well. You should find good videos with all the info you need on it.
