Are throttle linkages all the same on Honda clones

Guys I picked up the new off road dirt buggy drift 2 flamin when I got home I noticed the throttle was really stiff so took air filter off to see how the previous owner had fitted it and looked a proper bodge job lol instead of loosening top bolt on throttle lever body the cable had been fixed via small clap and length of cable run underneath fuel tank and attached to cable block swivel on the end of the govnor arm where the govnor rod pops out the top of the engine case ??? The is a Honda gx270 clone engine (lifan) 9.0hp engine . Now on my drift trike that run a Honda clone engine 7hp (lifan) all I did was fix cable block swivel into hole on top of throttle body and loosen top bolt . Now for some reason this gx270 clone engine throttle body looks totally different ?

Has anyone on here got the gx270 engine that can post a picture how they have done there throttle linkage WITH OUT GOVNOR REMOVED please ... as I'm completely stuck

I forgot how exactly... But as I recall, the big blocks have slightly different layout from the smaller versions.

The accelerator cable was connected to that bit under tank on top of govnor rod ? There was not a govnor spring from it to accelerator block /arm ? There was another spring the one I've pictured hooked into accelerator block hole where swivel cable block goes and this was attached to is it called the govnor arm where black rod and and that very fine spring connects too ?

I've even tried attaching a spring from the bit on top off govnor rod under tank to where it should clip , to under accelerator arm body .
But the throttle flap inside carb will not return to idle it's as if something is missing still .

As I know where the accelerator cable should attach to on carb into this

Come on guys someone must own one of theses who can help .
If I can't sort it out il have to take engine out and completely remove the govnor as didn't want to do this as it's 9hp and plenty quick enough for our usage

Here's my 301. Does that help? The long side of the gov arm goes to the carb. I have an extra return spring added to help the wimpy one they supplied.

Big block and small block are opposite of each other.

Big block works same way as cable moves

Small block moves opposite of cable

Thanks for pictures the throttle return spring does the black rod that fits onto carb does it have to be inside the spring
