I finally got to start the build on the arachnid. One good thing is my wife walked out while I was working on it and decided to join so its a win win situation for me (unless she tries painting the thing pink) any how here are some pics as to where I stand...

I've found that if they're interested enough to get involved, they're usually interested enough to stay involved.

Explain what you're doing & why every now & then & answer any questions she may have & you'll have her hooked. It's like a good book; she'll be dying to find out what happens next

Nice work so far from another "Arachnid fan". Even in the face of multiple changes to the original plans... DON'T GIVE UP. You can private-message me "PM" me anytime if you think there's just "no way" to go on... I've been there. Cheers to good Go-Karts!

That looks like a nice solid weld; not bad for someone who hasn't welded for a few years (it's like riding a bike, huh). What welder are you using?

Not sure what kind of welder it is I will let you know later when I start working on it again.. It's not very big about the size of an old metal lunch box hence he reason I dubbed it (lunch box) :drool5:
