Great deal, very nice tires. But what a :furious2: to install!!! They are very deformed and install with a tube would be much easier. My buddy and I put 4 of these on a Murray Hard Drive with new wheels. We resorted to using the old Starting spray and a match trick to get the bead to seat on a couple...

:iagree: That helps a lot. A tube would make a huge difference.

We had one that simply would not get close enough to the bead to seat without a tube. I don't recommend this but we removed the valve stem and shot a quick spray of starting fluid and took it outside and tossed a match at it. POP! And it seat straight away. That was a last resort before buying a tube.

i have installed 3 sets of these tires so far. i even put 2x4's in between the beads and left them by the wood stove for days and STILL could not get them to seat correctly! i ended up using tubes in two sets and fabbed up a "blast can" ( like the truck tire shops have) but on a slightly smaller scale. even then , they each took a few tries to get them seated properly! all in all though they are great tires ( especially for the money) and wear like iron ! bmi also sells the needed 7" rims and tubes.
