Anyone into tractors?

Hey

Is anyone here on this forum into tractors. Last year Me and my dad bought a tractor, it's a kubota L245DT. It's a pretty cool little tractor, its diesel 3 cylinder with 30 HP. Everything on it works but all the hydraulic oil leaked out of the burst braided hose linking the trailer. We got it and the trailer for £600. It's 1980 so just over 30 years old. It had sat in someone's garden for about 20 years. So we pressure washed it down replaced the battery, put fresh fuel into it and got some water in the radiator and now it's great. We are planning to restore the trailer soon Aswell.

I've driven quite a few around the farm. Enclosed cab JD with A/C and the works, New Holland Backhoe, Farm-All garden tractor, JD 1-series, JD Model A.

I don't have any, but I've grown up around them. My bro-in-law has a '54 Fordson Major diesel with front-end bucket, that thing is an absolute BEAST.

Our little tractor is Massey harrison? Before they merged with Ferguson? IIRC its from '56 a massive 28hp.
The funny thing is, we have serviced it once in the time we have owned. That would be close on 20 years! Trans/HYD oil is milky engine oil leaks out as quick as it goes in. It has rolled down a 75m 45 degree hill into a pond, salvaged with a digger. Will start first time every time thou.

I live on a dairy farm, so we have a Massey fergeson 135 3 cylinder tractor, and a new John deer 6420 or something like that, 4 cylinder.

The property owner owns these, but they are there for my use-

OOO, another beast of a machine!

Let's not forget the ubiquitous Ford 8 and 9N's. Dad had one, us boys used it to drag the stoneboat loaded with our friends through the pasture/trees/cactus...ahh, good times!

Dad's didn't look nearly as nice as this one. Imagine dented and ill-fitting hood, faded/scratched paint, dirt/grease, one headlight aimed at the moon, etc...

My bro-in-law's other tractor is an Allis-Chalmers C, with belly mower. I'm not sure of the year model, but it's a great mowing machine, he uses it around his house (lives in the country). Looks a lot like this one:

His up-close mower is a '71 Economy "Jim Dandy", powered by a Kohler (iirc 14hp) horizontal-shaft. I'm rather envious...

My dad had started a "lawn" tractor build years ago. It has a Dodge 4 speed tranns.
He made a shortend driveshaft, cut down rearend too.

Had plans to put a 9hp Wisconson with a gear reduction. But didnt happen.

Id like to finish it, maybe a lil differed that he had planed... uppen the cyl count by atleast 5...
He made the frame using some sort of train railing, so I want to make a new frame so its a bit lighter... ought to be fun.
