the motors they gave us depended on our sponsers like for instance we were offered two kawasaki gave us a 125cc and then briggs and stratton gave us a motor they took off a racing cart and thats what we went with mainly because it was extremely torque and ridiculous fast came with a really neat gear box it was 4 gears and then had what reminded me of like a towing gear it was just super super low it was great for whole shots

sounds awesome you think the kart will hold up to a 400cc snowmobile engine though i think it will cuss you hittin jumps like that with no prob. i cant wait now lol, so do you have a estimate on how much it would cost to build the frame or atleast the cheapest way.

it would definantly hold a 400 there was guys out there running motors a lot bigger then that (vw motors) anyway i mean it all depends on how extreme you want to go with it and are you welding a frame? honestly what we did is found a cheap but really nice yerfdog frame paid 100 bucks for it and just cut moodded it welded a lot of supports put a body on it we did a lot to it but after it was all said and done we put about 700 bucks into it not counting the motor(which was free) but that was mainly because it had to meet all these codes for saftey but look at investing at least 300 bucks into it and thats assuming you already have the motor and trans.

yea its just again its all about what you want that frame will not only take a lot more time but also a lot more parts which mean more$$$$ so just decide exactly what you want and go from there
