well i was at the fleamarket looking around to see if i caould find any good engines, or karts, etc. And i couldnt find anything so i went to this table and they had a bucket of airsoft guns. they were all still in their boxes and stuff but some of them were pretty expesive. I found one that was a pistol still in the box unopened for 15. I tallked him down and bought it for 10.

Its pretty cool, shoots at 240fps and is full metal. Shoots 6mm's.

When i got home i took some foamboard i had from a school project and printed a shooting target on it. Ive been practicing a little and im alright now. Im gonna keep working on my aim before i dump more money into the sport...

Anyone else have any airsoft guns?

I believe thers a report button... somewhere. {EDIT} its been taken care of, wee...

Anyways, I have 2... made by Daisy. Theres a pistol, nothin spetacular and a double barrel shotgun, obviously cooler than the pistol, only came with 4 shells. Each shell holds 3 bbs.

I have the shotgun apart at the moment... modifications...

I've got s JG G3 firing at around 450 fps.
Its got;
tight-bore barrel
silent piston head with bearing
silent cylinder head
hi torque motor
m140 spring
steel mech box bearings
nozzle with O-ring
all wiring connections deans
1800mAh lipo battery
I think that's all. I dont like the fact that over here fully auto guns are illegal

Ban this guy...

Why?

Anyways, I have a UTG Gen. 5 (IIRC) M24 model sniper, I forget its UTG name. It shoots .2g's around 480 fps. It's got a 4x32 mil-dot scope with red/green illumination and a locking, extendable, bipod underneath. I have the insides teflon modded to help keep any air from leaking out. Other than that, it's bone stock. Come to think of it, PM me offers, it's a wall hanger ATM. But yes, I've had a few, broke a few, and fixed some.

Started with a Cybergun Hardball shotgun, got a UTG shotty, the sniper, a tiny S&W handgun that I got to keep if I could fix it, and have used some others. My friend has a Mauser L96, that thing is pretty.

You missed the spamer... its all good now.

How is that utg shotgun? I was reading that they were kinda flimsy... unless im thinking about another brand...

They're probably improving in quality, but then, they were your average spring shotgun. They were a pain to load without a pistol mag shaped speed loader, unless you get the high cap one with crank wheel. If you're just messing around in the back yard with friends, it's perfect. Cheap, accurate, powerful, and adjustable hop up.

Ditto. Except getting sniped at close range. Bloody welts from .35g bbs moving at 400fps were NOT fun.

I have a few by now, but my favorite by far is my A&K Dragunov. It's a bolt action with a straight pull.

~560+ fps with .2s (just a wild guess, never actually chrono'd, especially with .2s) -- either way, m170 spring in an extended cylinder.

Hits people out to around 300' with .40s, I've managed to get headshots on people with hostages out at around 200' not spraying, just a single shot.

I replaced the front sight/muzzlebrake with a handmade suppressor, works well, and only adds a fraction of an inch and a couple of ounces to the gun. I also have a lot of extra parts in there to reduce vibration, drilled and tapped extra holes to hold everything securely, and put in a lot of vibration dampening parts. Has a Madbull gen. 2 PSG-1+ barrel and a firefly soft bucking. When you look through the scope it looks like your shots just float along to the target.
