Any tips to get wheels off an axle?

Trying to get the wheels off of my axle but they a very stuck. Tried soaking them in pb blaster but no luck. I just tried heat but they still won't come off. Trying not to ruin the wheel or the axle. Any other suggestions before I order a new axle and start from scratch?

Well I just tried using a 3 jaw puller on the wheel with alot of heat and ended up with a bent wheel and messed up the end of the axle alittle. There has to be a way to get these wheels off

too much frustration, I just scrap it and move on. i'd pay the price of replacing the equipment just to avoid the frustration

I'm going to call BMI today and see if they can make me a 49 3/4" axle. Says on their site they can make any length up to 55" but it's going to cost me $50. Then $100 + shipping for tires and wheels I'm probably going to spend $200 + just to fix this stupid axle. Oh well I don't plan on getting rid of the kart any time soon so I guess it's worth it

Tried a big hammer to the back of the wheel and wouldn't budge. Then tried putting the axle nut on until flush with the axle and whacking on that and still nothing. I only have a small propane torch so I may see if I can find a set of cutting torched and head that rim till it's red. I had it pretty hot last might I melted the valve stem

if u have an offset vice then use it to brace the back of the wheel then bash the S*** out of the axil till it comes off
oh and hit it with alot of wd40 and leave it for a while be fore doing the above

I thought I was safe by putting the nut on the end of the axle then beating on that but when I took the nut off the threads on the last 1/4" of the axle were messed up. I was planning on buying new wheels and tires anyways and I'm converting it to a disc brake so other than the sprocket I won't have to buy anything else. I'll give that a try tonight my vice is mounted on the work bench.

dont put the nut on
it may bur over the edge of the axil a little so u will need to crack it with a hammer like i said then smoothen out the axil to get it all the way off

Apparently it's too late for this to be of any help, but over the years I've learned - patience.
When stuff is stuck that bad, it takes time.
Soak it daily (or twice daily!) w/PB, Open & Shut, Liquid Wrench, , whatever you're using.
Each time you soak it, tap it a bit. Tap, not hit!
Give it at least a couple of days before you really try to get it loose, I've had stuff that took a week or longer.

Found my solution I pulled the tires off the rims and cut the rims off the axle. I tried lots of heat again and they still would not budge
