Somewhat how I want it. The battery is gunna go behind the seat and maybe an external fuel tank as well, of course they will be shielded...

I'll be a racing seat. I just needed something to kinda plan out how long it is. the steering shaft is too short i think. I will probably put a slider bracket under the seat. not sure yet.

the seat frame there will likely be tubular while the rest is square stock. but I'm not sure how I can attach the swing arm if do that unless I do a tube frame with square stock supports if you know what i mean?

This is something I would like to do. exept maybe square up the ends and make a taller back. I would not use suspetion arms up front just spindles with springs. Would you mind if i used these ideas for my kart.

not at all. we can compare along the way. if they look similar in the end we can name them thing1 and thing 2!

any suggestions on how thick the walls should be on the tubing?

Let's start with some overall dimensions. Based on what we have, I'm heading towards something in the ball park of 1 1/4" or 1 1/2" 16ga

I'm 5'11, so the distance between the pedal and the *** of the seat should be about 3 feet or so? no tape measure to check accurately lol. near me that is

What are the chances of that I am also 5' 11". I have heard it is better to go with a bigger size of square tubing and a lighter gauge that a heavy gauge and small metal. So I think 1 1/4 16 gauge would be enough. What are you planning on doing for hooking the shock from the swing arm to the frame. I will use 13 1/4 inch shocks from northern tool.

Have you decided what you are going to use for metal I'm using 1 1/4" 16 gauge and what will you be welding with. Wire or stick?
