I have a bolt action BRNO CZ .223 cal that i use for target shooting and a single barrel break action 4 10 shotgun i use for clay pigeons. I also us my dads bolt action German Weihrauch .22. my dad usually use it for silhouette and competition shooting. his .22 has a hair trigger so sensitive it will fire when the gun is dropped. Both our rifles have Leupold scopes.

:cheers2: from down under.

I am fron Texas so I honestly don't know how many guns I have. I am sure it is over 50. Most of them are shotguns. Over 1/2 were inherited.

6 shot guns, 5 ar's all 556, 2 sbr's, ruger precision 6.5, ruger american 30-06, ruger sr22, colt/umarex ar chambered in 22, 3 1911's one in 45 one 40 and one in 9, 4 suppressors... to much fun to list. but the list will never stop growing!

My favorite out of all my collection is my franchi Affinity 12 gauge shot gun. clays all day, pheasant, rabbit and duck all fall. next up would be my ruger american 30-06 just because I love elk season. Dont really ever shoot it any other time though.

everything else is just for fun

The .30-30 is a lever action, right?
Mossberg is a shotgun right? Is it pump action?

I'm in Australia so I don't have any semi automatic guns.

The .30-30 is a lever action. The Mossberg 800A is a short bolt action rifle, think it's from the 1960s, consider it a precursor to their newer line up. My condolences to what you guys have to deal with in Australia, it's not something I want to deal with ever. Too much money invested.

yeah it sucks, but the Christchurch shooting is making our laws soften, which i don't know about you, but i don't like that my class mate might have a gun in his pants. our laws are controlled for a reason. i don't want my Australia to be like america(no offence). I'm a target shooter so I don't see the need for a semi auto rifle for hunting when you only need one shot to kill.

Single-shot rifle and a one-eyed dog.

Careful, the "Man" is reading this thread and taking notes.

Who is the "Man" :2guns:

I'm not going to dip my feet into a political crap storm, but as a hunter, I like semi-autp for the fact that I can make a follow up shot faster than I could with a bolt-action or lever. Yes bolt is generally more accurate, but practice enough and it's a wash.

Generally I like to shoot trap...
But I like shooting my flintlock Hawken rifle the most... However its getting harder to find decent flints these days...... Might have to break down and get a caplock one of these days... or build one...

I dunno, modern semi auto rifles I think are generally more accurate than the average person is.
Right there with the average bolt action rifles.

But what do I know...
I lost all my guns in a tragic boating accident... :ack2:

Well, offense taken lol.

You do realize if you outlaw guns, then the guy who "has a gun in his pants" will STILL find a way to get a hold of one, regardless if it was legal or not.

Then what happens is he has a gun, and the law abiding conceal carry guy can not use his "legal" gun to shoot the bad guy? I know that it is not often it happens, but it does happen more often than you think and the media here chooses not to show it.

I guess you want to outlaw knives too...your classmate could stick one of those down his pants.

And cars as well...he could easily run over you.

Heck even frying pans, he could hit people with a large one.

I think you get my point.

Back to topic, I have a shotgun as well as airguns. Hoping to get an AR style .22lr this spring.

Also mean to ask how long did it take you to think of the name for this thread?? (it's the same as my original airgun thread lol *facepalm*)
