This is all new to me... forgive me for my lack of knowledge. My son has a minimoto - it worked fine for a year. It stopped working - we replaced the batteries- we replaced the charger- it worked for a full charge - now not working at all and the batteries read they are fully charged. I am looking to taking it to someone for repair. Anyone here know of anyone that can help? We are in Long Beach, CA.

Thanks so much for your help.

Blessings -

:welcome2: this is electric correct? if so what is it doing/ not doing. do you have a volt meter to check that the batteries are actually charged? check for any loose connections.

Chances are it's a simple loose wire..
either in the powerswitch, or the throttle connection.
if it has a speed selector or forward/reverse switch, check those too of course.

the minimoto for all I know has a NC brake signal as well..
So check the small micro switch on the brake pedal if it's working correctly.

And unfortunately, if neither of that caused your problem...
and if you maybe forgot to power down the controller to swap the batteries for example,
the reason will be a dead controller I'm afraid.
(spark charged electrolytic cap that popped and now went dry...)

I can't recall what controller the minimotor originally came with.. so pics and model numbers might help us find you a replacement (in case you need one)
