Hi Im from RI and I have a honda minimoto electric kart that is about 5 or 6 years old. it was originally my little sisters but she never really used it and broke the front fin on her first drive. i was bored the other day and i decided to try and clean it up and get it running again. turns out the "T" handle that cuts off the power had been broken and the piece was lost and the kart was left sitting untouched in the garage. after i did some looking i found out that it came with a second handle. everything seems to be working ok, but i cant seem to get the battery to hold a charge. i have connected the charger but the LED light remains solid green. i was hoping someone might have any tips for me. either how i can test the battery or where i can get a new one. only one i could find online was like $100. has anyone ever converted one to gas or to use a battery that lasts longer then a year?
