my name is tracy williams , i am 51 years old and have loved go carts my whole life. when i was younger i was always too big to ride them and could never loose weight no maatter what i did. i had gastro bypass in 2002 and now my weight is 170 . a few years back i built a go cart for my nephew to ride and had to make him ride it. darn kid. that didn't last long so i did ride it as long as my back would let me. no shocks so it got parked. i now have a 8 year old grand nephew who loves go carts and the feel for one came back. i found a maxxam 150 2r i think it is made by ace. i need some cables and brake pads but i did ride it some yesterday when i bought it. the man wanted 700 and i got it for 550. today i need to find some parts for it but had no luck last night. i am a maintenance specialist at the university of tn. i restore old cars and trucks in my spare time. i found this site a few weeks ago and joined the other day. great site. hope the photos show up and are not too big. it is in good shape and pretty clean but runs good.
