okay guys so yesterday i got a new phone, its a Huawei m835 with android 2.2 froyo. When i charge my phone it charges rather fast to the 90% mark and then takes about an hour and a half to charge to 100%, in the end it takes me about 2 1/2 hours to charge my phone. but my phone could barley last me 4 hours without going to low battery and i ended up having to charge it in my 5th hour, and at times it can be extremely slow. Am i missing a reason why my phone is dieing so fast? any help is appreciated

I suggest that you fully charge it then fully drain the battery. After another full charge, head over to an Android forum (I'm on both XDA Developers and Android Forums, both fro the Droid 3) and learn how to root your phone and flash a ROM. This is a version of software that was not officially released by your carrier, but it much more efficient and will improve battery life. It's usually "debloated" which means that any apps and programs installed by the manufacturer and carrier which are essentially junk are removed. The Droid 3 had less that respectable battery life at it's debut, but there was one software update released as well as numerous ROMs, allowing more modification, responsiveness, and improved battery life. This is my second niche, after go karts! ;) I'm happy to help with any questions.
