Anderson SB50 connections

Remember from old threads I've been using those quick disconnects? Well I ordered some more thinking I needed them and found out sure enough, different colors do not fit. I may try to grind or cut away some plastic from the gray one to fit the red. Just wanting to make 25' extension cords and adapt my jumper cables so I don't need to open the hood to give someone a jump.

I see alot of tow truck with those forklift battery connectors out there hoods. Those are a good idea.

Anyway grind the plastic make it work.
My wife has a "kit" that was store bought, it uses these for her jumper cables without her opening the Hood. It was a gift. DIY is way better.

sure it would have been easier to stick with one color, but getting the best deal on price and gauge size lugs is tricky

ah ha! here i was thinking about taking a dremel to the gray to cut the offset of the red but then i realized i only needed to cut the offset off the red and they mate! less than 10 seconds with the jigsaw on each red! also- my first actual work on the new welding table!
