I'll start with hello. Recently got a Kart and was talked into it from a friend. He has a dirt circle track in his back yard (dust bowl)
I know the Kart is a manco (it says the name on the floor pan) not sure of the model. I'll load pics soon. One question I have is a couple of the wheels have parts of the bead missing. I did a search for these wheels and am understanding they are discontinued. I read you can use a different wheel but it won't work for the drive wheel. (6 hole for the sprocket and brake drum to mount to) Has anyone found a alternative for the drive wheel? Also I might add it's a 5" wheel. I'll use the search engine for everything else as I'm sure a lot of my questions have been brought up before.

Hi :welcome2:
Find yourself a 5" mini bike rim and a matching sprocket/bandbrake ..thing ;)

I have the exact same problem ATM,
one broken 4" wheelhalf and a missing 5" rim on the back.

You can buy the 5" wheelhalves at ebay but they're expensive, even more if you need the one with tapped holes (for the sprocket)
SO it might be cheaper to just find something else
Anyways.. ebay links:

If you need steel wheels, they're on ebay too ;)

So here is the damage. Does anyone know the model of this kart? Thank you itsid for the advice. I found the wheel half at www.oldschoolminibike.com only a couple bucks cheaper then eBay but at least there are some still out there. You say they offer the same thing in steel wheels? I'll do a search and see what I can find.

It's a "Fox" series frame... not sure which series... you basically have the factory 1 seater version of what my kart used to be.

The same? NO.. but matching ones..
later models had steel wheels instead of the casted aluminium ones for the same karts...

The damage looks pretty bad, but the real question is.. is it on both halves or do you just need one.

Or for the bigger picture: from all the 8 halves you have on your kart, how many are broken?

PS If you intend to go steel, let me know, maybe I want 2-3 leftover halves ;)
As mentioned I have the same exact problem right now... just not as bad one 5" rim missing one 4" half cracked
