An idea for a front engined, shaft to chain drive, cart

So heres the idea that's rattling around my head.

Using a 125cc Honda motorcycle engine that is coupled to an ATV (forward/reverse) gearbox. That transmission outputs with a drive shaft, that driveshaft can lead into a 1:1 "T" gearbox. On each side of that gear box I can add a sprocket and this would have 2 drive sprockets that go to my chain drive rear axle.

I think that running it this way would give me a nice gear ratio, a decent top speed.

I'm a big fan of projects that are outside of "normal". Your idea fits that critera.
l like it! I don't understand what the purpose of multiple chains is. Apparantley that thing with 4 chains has a two speed gear setup. Keep it simple.
My thinkin would be to put axle shafts right on the "tee gearbox and have no chains.

I have seen where a secondary clutch is mounted onto the shaft directly then into a right angle gear box. From the right angle gear box a chain to the axle.
