Long time lurker and this is my first build. This thing needs lots of love and I’m going to need lots of help on this one. Lol. Where would be the best place to get parts for this thing. I need wiring, brake master cylinder, shock, then no telling what for the motor. But here are some pics.

Can you weld? Because putting it back together stock will cost as much or more than a new kart. That is if you could find the parts.

Yes I can weld, I’m mainly just concerned about the gy6 and if it needs a rebuild to what the cost can be.

It could cost $1,000.00 or more depending on machine work.

Your best bet is to research scooter forums.
These are scooter based with many of the same parts.
Those folks toss around engine parts like crazy, they have been dirt cheap.

American Landmaster (ASW) seems to moving away from those parts more and more.
But they may still carry somethings.

Just typing "GY6" into your search engine will pop up an amazing amount of info on those. Lots of new engines for sale, lots of parts from a small handful of parts dealers. I've got Bing as my home page search engine, but Google or any other should have it all also.
