Aluminum engine mount..?

I want to make a mount for my kt100.. Would it be fine to do a steel mount, against the aluminum engine, or should the mount be aluminum?

Wont matter what material you use. Steels cheaper, stronger and easier to weld. AluminIum is lighter.

I kinda quit on that for a while.. preoccupied with other stuff. I'm thinking of going for it real soon though.. hopefully
