Alpha 7 / Mac10

Been trying to get one of my best friends to sell me this kart for decades. My first kart was an Alpha7 with a Mac20. Ended up putting the Mac20 on an 61 A-bone. Chewed the A-bones with the Power Product 58's.

If I was a small kart manufacturer I would remake something like this. Love the stance afforded by the short steering column and no frame extension after the axle. The nut cushion is also a welcome feature….

That is one of the smallest engine sprockets I have ever seen. 🤯

On the direct drive I have seen 8 tooth sprockets and with a clutch you could get down to a 9 tooth was the smallest you could run with a bushing and 10 tooth had a needle bearing. Those really were the "good old days" when ingenuity and innovation was what put you on the podium as well as "no fear".
