all i have left on my engine is the valve kit upgrade and the flyrod. the valve seem simple so ill go straight to my main question. i have been rewatching ARC racing's video on how to install the flywheel. What confuses me is when i go to install my new fly wheel can i just slap it on with the stock key and be done with it or do i
need to use a Degree wheel and calculate the timing? ive asked around and have gotten two responces:
1st one is: make sure the timing is correct with a timing light and degree wheel.
2nd one is: take off old flywheel, lap new one, reinstall and voila you are set. nothing else needed.

How much did you spend on the flyrod? LOL

If you want to do it right and know exactly where you are, do the 1st one.
If not, do the second one.

I just put the key in and assume everything is where it should be. But that is just me. I don't own a degree wheel or know how to use a timing light.

If you are racing for $$$, do the degree wheel and what not. If you are just riding around the neighborhood with friends, don't worry about it.
