Hey guys,

Im brand new here and have picked up what seems to be a 1992 Al Unser Jr. Indy 500 Manco go-kart (craigslist find). It is missing the drive wheel and all of its components. Its simply an empty shaft sitting there. Does anyone have a parts list or maybe the whole wheel/sprocket/brake assembly diagram and part number list available?

Thanks in advance,

Adrian

Nothing Special about that drive set up To do with the Name.
Just a typical 1 tire Fire Go kart.
Part can be Found at GoPowerSports.com
and a list and how to at Kartfab.com

Yo Adrian, go back and edit the title; it's M-A-N-C-O. It doesn't rhyme with bacon.

Believe it or not...this is a factory Manco drive wheel set-up...(yours may or may not have been the same...but certainly would work with this set-up.)

A pic of the whole kart might help...and check for a model # just in front of the seat.

As you can see...other than a drive wheel and tire, a sprocket, and a brake drum...(probably 4")....You can get the nuts and bolts from any hardware or home improvement store.

Interesting to note that the V8 Volvo is made in Japan by Yamaha!
Or an LS1 swap!

Ok but still, you usually find manuals and stuff nobody else can find, or is willing to look that hard for.

Thanks for all of the responses guys! I always wanted a go-kart when I was growing up so to find one for $30 with a missing drive wheel and engine is considered a win in my book. Most of the time, I don't see them for less than $100.

So I ordered a wheel for this hog and it should be at the house by Friday.

$30 is a steal in my opinion and the kart is mostly intact. I am guessing it still retains the classic Manco wheels on the rest of the 3 corners; the cast aluminum "mag" wheels. Those are classic and if you can eventually find a matching drive wheel, all the planets will be aligned in your favor....

The slicks are a plus. Ready for parking lot shredding.
