I hope this helps some of you out there trying to figure up a bake setup.:idea2:

This product can be bought from northerntool.com or can be look in the book on page 276.

1.Caliper brake disc
a.6" disc $25.00
b.7.8 disc $27.00
would make sure of the space yo have if using the 7.8 disc you might bottom out.
Good--this disc is nice and strong i went with the 6" on my sons mini cart will fit on a 1" axle only has a set key slide for 1/4".
Bad-- there is no:mad2: allen head screw hole on this disc. You will have to do 1 of 3 things.Depending on you.
1.Use inch collars on each side might be able to use only one depends on your setup.:ack2:
2.Drill a hole threw the disc sleeve and tread your own.:2guns:
3.Drill a 3/16" hole in the axle and run you a bolt and nut threw it to ensure it dose not move.{this was the route i took}.
:idea2:
2. Brake caliper {comes with the bracket}-$44.00

This is a floating set up so do not do as i did at first and try to make the caliper stay still with a screw.
.
It is suppose to move with a little play.:confused: {isn't that right hotrod [new member] brother-in-law help me on this one.}

3.Collar 1"-$8.00 will need 1 or 2 depending on your setup.

4.Foot rod and pin -$6.00

5.Pedal-$6.00

Complete cost is +/- $100.00---I got mine on ebay with shipping 54.00 saved about $25.00:thumbsup:

The bracket can be welded on or bolted on .I welded mine do to where i had it located. If bolted it will take to screws.

This was a pretty is setup up and should take a hour or two to do it. Depending on your kart.I would say for the buck this was great product and on a 5 star system i give it a 4 only because it had no screw hole for the disc, and i got confused on the caliper. This brake setup stops on a dime with no problems at all.:biggrin5:

Was a wet day so a course we had to go out and play in the rain.
