Trying to remember how the old ones fit...

The 5/16" are a little tight, the 3/8" are really loose.
The 7/16" got opened at HomeStore because I am sometimes bad at math in my head. lol

I could widen the bore on these up a bit if I wanted, but the 5/16" are probably close enough.

I don't think they need to spin freely in the circlip do they?

Don't try to put a stock lash cap on the SS valve or you will be wondering why your push rod is too long.

Trying to set the lash. I will do it again after the cleaning. I have to remove the bolt / nut from the rocker arm to adjust. One of them is jacked, but should still work for now.

0.003" HOT on intake and exhaust is what the cam card says.
I will try for 0.002" cold for now, but it is pain so willing to settle for 0.001 - 0.003 cold if i can get it without spending two days.

Set to (what I'd call a loose) 0.002" on both. I've called tighter 0.002" before as well. There is some friction when sliding the feeler gauge.

Starting to look good.

So good I don't really want to take the TC and side cover off. Nor do I want to check the flywheel key.

IDK.

It's so close right now.

Maybe just an oil change, then a good cleaning after testing or Chen I change the TC springs. Studs when ever I open the crankcase.

Well I'm sure my fuel line would eat this thing whole. Didn't really have a need (with the choke and all), but thought I could use some more fuel lines. Maybe a bypass surgery to include a tiny primer pump line?

I went back and read the first 10 pages of this thread and I'm like how the heck are there another 50 of these.

I have purchased all the goats. There are none left. They are being delivered to 3 bedroom house a few miles from where I live!

We are open 365. 11am - 2am Sun - Thurs and 11am - 3am Friday and Saturday. (Half day on Christmas)

On Monday's (at least by me), bartenders hope to get an industry crowd. Bartenders and servers are awesome tippers and most are off on Monday (you saw not many needed at most places).

If not... we sit with the 1 drunk and wish he would leave while we wonder who we got to show some T & A to to only get scheduled Thurs, Friday and Sat.

I close on Sunday and open on Monday. I get no sleep and am very irritable on Monday mornings (more so than most).

Or in Missy's case, on Mondays, she waits 9 hours for the 40 dudes around her bar that only seats 15 to leave, so I could show up and confirm our date. Then when I ask for her number and she gives it me, I forget how to use my phone and spend 5 minutes making up excuses as to why my phone won't let me send her a text message.
