Annnnnn.....finally...we get down to the crux of the matter...put the cracked pipe down and walk away....
And now I wonder if you suffer from Aspergers or Asskickedbyhers.
JK...Luv ya man! Carry on!
A mutual friend that I work with told me at least one of the blows came from a selfie stick. I guess her roommate had a contracted selfie stick laying around and that is what she was hitting me with. Might be BS, but now I really have a reason to think selfie sticks are the dumbest things on planet FaceBook

Those don't look like cracks so much as unfilled area's.
That's what I was thinking.

Permatex Ulta Copper Maximum is rated for 700 deg F intermittent use, 600 continuous.
Red is only 650 F intermittent.
I used some pretty abrasive techniques to clean the slag and spatter.
Hopefully the gasket will seal it, but I have a backup plan.

I don't think I will do the carb adapter. I'm afraid of losing the pulse signal for the pump and also somehow screwing up the flow of the intake charge.
Finished GAB????
Only assembly required at this point????
Milled
Ported
Polished
Gasket Matched
Valves Lapped
Chamber CC'd
P2V checked
P2H checked
It seems like I can put the head back on. I might hand tighten the carb studs and exhaust before bolting the head on.
I didn't get the stud kit. Should I? Blue Loctite on bolts if I don't get kit (unless everyone thinks I should, I probably don't want to wait)?
